The creative look of

Rosário Félix

Rosário Félix lives in Lisbon and didn’t pass up the chance to explore his city at our invitation.

Born in 1950, Rosário Félix studied Fine Art (Painting) at the Lisbon Faculty of Fine Arts and was a secondary school art teacher.

Since October 2013, she has attended Professor José Faria’s Engraving Workshop. She is part of the Portuguese Urban Sketchers community. She manages the blog dequemeservemosolhos.blogspot.com and contributes to the Urban Sketchers Portugal official blog.

Rosário walked through Lisbon with the curiosity of someone visiting for the first time.

What surprised you on this journey?

The Estação Sul e Sueste by architect Cottinelli Telmo surprised me. It's extremely beautiful!

Was there a particular meal that stuck in your memory?

A very pretty spot with good food was the "Pharmácia" restaurant.

What was your favourite moment during this journey?

I enjoyed drawing Lisbon from the Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara.

If you had to recommend Lisbon to your friends, what would you say?

I'd tell them that the best way to visit Lisbon is to quietly draw it!
